The Rooms

The Relais has eleven guest rooms available, all on the first floor that is served by a lift. They have a simple elegance, and are furnished with all the comforts and with attention to detail, the modern style installed during the renovation works integrating pleasingly with the period furnishings and with the magnificent sixteenth century panelled ceilings.

The great windows provide pleasant glimpses of the meadows and the mighty river. Each room is equipped with a working fireplace, services and full size baths (standard and superior) the wash basins are the work of master craftsmen from the area as also are the poplar wood duck boards for the showers.

The soaps, which are also hand-made, are produced from an aromatised olive oil base with various wine essences. A basket of seasonal fruit and a mini-bar with water and home produced fruit juices are put at our guests’ disposal.

SERVICE NOTE

Booking a room at Antica Corte Pallavicina Relais is valid for overnight stay and breakfast service. In no way this represents a pre-emptive right on a table at our restaurants. We kindly ask, when booking, to specify the willingness to reserve a table at our gourmet restaurant or at our Hosteria del Maiale, in order to avoid unpleasant inconveniences.

The Suite

The two suites have been created inside the castle’s old towers; arranged on two floors they offer guests a living room with a hearth and sleeping accommodation on the floor above.

The Galeazzo Room

The Newlyweds Room

In 1599 the marriage was celebrated of Alfonso and Vittoria Gonzaga of Novellara, a wedding in perfect accord with the established noble tradition on the matter since the middle ages. Noble Floor

Some of the rooms on the Noble Floor are left at the complete disposal of our guests, perhaps to relax drinking a herbal tea from the Capuchin monks at the abbey in Torrechiara or reading a good book! While in the tower with the signs of the zodiac, you can browse through our collection of books dedicated to the pig and everything related to this area.
